Winter Wonderland in Zions

We decided to take a Saturday Hike up in Zions to see the beautiful snow and icicle waterfalls. It started out pretty fun, we went to the Emerald pools but the upper pool was closed so then we decided to head over to weeping rock. When we got there sheets of ice were falling and icicles were crashing down and people were freaking out but we wanted to get a closer look so we passed the "Closed Trail" sign and snuck up closer to weeping rock. The trail was clear and easy except there was a patch of ice we didn't see until it was too late, poor Hunter slipped and his face hit the ice before he could even get his hands out of his pockets. His braces went right through his lip and he looked like he had just been in the fight of his life. It was a fun day but we all felt bad for H-dog!

Poor H! Well, it wouldn't be a good hike unless someone gets hurt. Look at all the hikes we took with Gramps, need I say more?! :)
