Lake Time

This was actually quite a while ago but I get way behind on posting so sorry. We always love the lake in the summer! This trip we taught Liz how to wake surf, she caught on really fast. Of course she did cuz she is the athletic one in the family, so unfair! We always have a blast at the lake!

Me, Liz, and Cousing Brady

This is Zoey wishing she were anywhere but there, she hates the water but she gets so hot we have to cool her off. Poor puppy!

North Carolina

Well, about a week after returning from Cancun Liz, my Dad, and I headed for good ol' N.C. We went out to visit my dad's mission comp, Tim, who is awesome and it was so good to see him again. It had been a few years since the last time we visited so it felt great. Tim's plantation is called Summer Hill and it is like traveling back in time. We enjoyed the Southern hospitality and spending time together. Liz had to move back up to Logan just a few days after we got home so it was great to spend that time together. Kade gets bored with history so he opted to stay home this trip!

Cancun

Well, we were finally able to go on our graduation trip to Cancun. We were supposed to go right after everyone graduated in May but because of Swine Flu we had to postpone it. Anyway, we went and had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect almost everyday. We spent time at the beach, by the pool, seeing the Mayan temples, time at the spa, and scuba diving. We also spent time being our goofy selves and having incredible amounts of fun with our awesome friends! Here are a few photos of a great trip:

Kade's New Car

Well, since both of our cars were from the dinosaur ages we decided that if we were gonna upgrade one we might as well do both! Haha. I LOVE Kade's car! It is so sweet and fun to drive, it has a rockin' engine and lots of cool features. Anyway, just thought I'd let ya see the newest member of the Ence Clan, haha!

Sky Diving!!!

Ok, so last Saturday Kade and I went sky diving for the first time. It was the thrill of a lifetime and I can't wait to do it again. We went with Kade's dad and brother and it was incredible. Since it was our first time we had to go tandum(with a partner) but I was glad. I was pretty surprised with how NOT nervous I was. I have always wanted to do it but I thought that once it came down to it I would be way scared but I wasn't. You can see the teeny, tiny plane we had to go up in behind us and it took about half an hour to get to 10,000 feet, which is where you want to be to jump. We were free-falling for about 60 seconds (which is totally the funnest part) and then pulled the chute and rode in for about 4-5 minutes. I got a little queasy on the plane ride, cuz I have such a weak stomach but other than that it was awesome! Any of you out there that are thinking about doing it, DO IT! We had the time of our lives! We actually had a guy jump with us that filmed each one of us so I will see if I can get the video up here. It is pretty cool, and really funny!

Presenting...Cami!

Here is the new car. I do still miss Civi but having a new car definately takes away some of the sting. It is an 07 Camry and has tonz of features. I really, really love it and have had a good time driving around in a car 12 years newer than my last one. Kade actually got a new car too so I will have to post some pictures of his. It's funny cuz we both have been driving around in cars over 10 years old for the last few years and then all of a sudden we both get new ones. It's fun!

Farewell to Civi

So...Many of you who read this blog will recognize the car in these photographs. That's because many of you have riden in this beloved vehicle because Civi was my main form of transportation from the age of 15 to about 3 days ago when Civi and I had to go our separate ways. Civi and I had been through high school, college, and the first 3 years of marriage together so you can see why it was difficult to part. I actually didn't want to get a new car until we had kids but someone made us an offer on Civi we couldn't refuse so we had to say farewell. Now I am ridin' in a sweet new car (pictures to come) but Civi will always hold a place in my heart. So, now begins a new chapter of my life without Civi...
